When we had our offer accepted for our purchase, we had a very tight timeline to complete the sale since our mortgage offer expiry was looming. The thing that most impressed us about Dexters was that they had a sales progression person who would prompt both us and the seller regularly to chase our solicitors, and helped coach us on what questions to ask and so on. It's not something I'd heard of before, but it's a great innovation. When the sales progression person moved to another part of the business, Henry came good for us and multi tasked as sales and sales progression! It did the trick and we completed just before mortgage offer expiry. Phew. We would consider Dexters if we ever came to sell.
We had great service from Dexter’s throughout this purchase. My son was a first time buyer and his mortgage offer was time-limited, so he was really up against it to get everything through in time. Henry Beard was the agent at Dexter’s who was liasing with both side’s solicitors, the seller, my son (the buyer) and quite a few more besides. He was very on the ball, prompt in getting back to us, courteous at all times and very good at chasing things up. Would certainly be happy to use Dexter’s again for a sale or purchase.
